On January 21, 2025, I stood at the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro (5,895m) the roof of Africa. This was not just a climb, but a personal mission to push my limits and carry the flag of Bangladesh to one of the world’s Seven Summits.

I chose the Marangu Route, also known as the “Coca-Cola route”, for its historical significance and steady acclimatization. Over 6 days, I trekked through five ecological zones starting in lush rainforests, climbing through moorlands and alpine deserts, and finally crossing the icy volcanic summit. Battling altitude, exhaustion, and freezing winds, I reached Uhuru Peak just after sunrise.

Standing beside the iconic summit sign, wrapped in the red and green flag of my homeland, was a moment of immense pride and reflection. It wasn’t just about reaching the top it was about honoring every step taken, every fear conquered, and every dream chased.

This experience reminded me that mountains don’t just measure altitude they measure courage, resilience, and determination. Mount Kilimanjaro was my gateway to higher dreams. I now look ahead to even greater challenges like Mount Elbrus and Mount Fuji.

This summit was dedicated to all dreamers who believe that with discipline, heart, and vision the impossible can become a milestone.
